Have you ever been in an unknown atmosphere, but yet it feels known?

As I wrap up my first week in Medellin, Colombia, I can’t help but to have a peace of being somewhere familiar yet have never been.

In Romans Paul writes, love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:10). Love is fulfilling all The Lord has called us to do.

Whether we are packaging spices, working in the kitchen chopping potatoes for 6 hours or hiking up a mountain, Gods love can be shown and ignite something in the atmosphere around you.

Love surpasses language barriers. I have seen this while playing with young children who don’t realize you can’t understand them. I have experienced this while walking on the dark cold streets offering prayer while crack pipes are being lit.

Love feels familiar as you walk in union with the spirit. Unknown places feel familiar. People you have never met feel familiar.

I urge you my friend, to know this love. Between you and the Father and between yourself and others. Love has no barrier. Look in the eyes of those around you.

Rain can fall on a rock 100 times but it only takes one drop to crack it open.

  2. You carry this love so well! You meet people where they are so beautifully and when others see that it inspires them to love in that way too! Thankful for you!!
