Hey friends,

I can not believe that we launch in 2 MONTHS!! Let me give you an update. Since my last blog I have become FULLY FUNDED (praise Jesus and a huge thank you to all of my donors!), we officially will be launching internationally, and I still do not know how to put up my tent.

With Covid, things have been changing quickly and sporadically BUT thank goodness the Adventures in Missions team has been on top of the changes around the world with their top concern being our safety as we travel internationally. As of today, we will begin our journey in South America. Yes, that's all we know. and where we will head after that is to be determined.

When God guided me towards the unscripted route, I think He laughed knowing how "unscripted" this adventure truly will be.

Today my Pastor said "God does not cause our pain but God does use our pain for a greater purpose". It got me thinking about two times where I was in pain, and in the midst of the pain, it lead to a decision that brought me to a greater purpose. One was my decision to move to Florida and the other being my decision to apply for the World Race.

As I reflect on the past 2.5 years here in Florida, this journey took me out of my comfort zone. A transition that I needed to grow deeper in my relationship with the Lord and to grow firm in my faith to help guide others as well. As I've fallen into a new comfort here in Florida, the Lord is now saying "time to step out of your comfort and into a new calling" just like he did 2.5 years ago.

People keep asking "How do you feel about leaving?". Initially I want to say its scary, but then I get this sense of peace. Peace knowing that this IS my next calling. That out of pain came a decision to greater purpose that God had planned for me all along. I am so EXCITED to begin new friendships, new experiences (ups and downs), and to get out of my comfort zone once again.

Thank you for reading this and a special thank you to all of my supporters!!

I will continue to write blogs to keep everyone updated. :)

Blessings,

Rebecca
